Our porcelain products are labelled ‘more sustainable’. Our partner for porcelain, New Edition, finds it important to minimise the use of single-use plastic. Furthermore, they use PVC-free or recyclable materials for their products and are certified for using FSC and PEFC certified cardboard and paper. They have received multiple certificates: OEKO-TEX certification, GOTS certificate, GRS certificate, OCS certificate, RCS certificate. New Edition aims to improve its sustainable footprint through solar panels, weekly waste inspections, and recycling water and wasted clay. Additionally, they reuse broken items and are committed to actively reducing CO2 emissions. For transport, the company minimises the use of air travel. They prefer to use water transport, trains, and electric transport. Pip Studio finds it important to collaborate with partners who also strive to improve their sustainable footprint.
