Our logistical partner Active Ants devotes a lot of attention to choosing environmentally friendly and sturdy packaging materials. Every product is packaged in a fitted packaging, thereby minimising the amount of wasted space and materials. For fragile products such as porcelain, we use more packaging materials than for our carpets.
Product breakage during transport instantly renders the product unusable. That means all the resources used are wasted and the effort involved in its production has been for naught.
In our warehouse, we use highly efficient automated packaging machines. These machine use exactly the right amount of packaging materials to avoid wastefulness and empty space.
Did you know that all our packaging materials are FSC-certified? The independent international FSC hallmark serves as an indication that the raw materials used for wood and paper products come from responsibly managed forests and that due care is taken to protect the people who depend on these forests.
